Outside the Box

Outside the Box  is a celebratory journey of an eclectic fifteen year history of the Brewery Dance Schools Platform. A brand new commission with the mountainous task of capturing 15 years worth of talent and creativity.

So here they are, About Time Dance Company, with a show about shows…They rummage through archive footage, They dust off boxes upon boxes of masks, wigs and astronaut helmets, uncover hoodies and t-shirts from years gone by, remember popular tracks long forgotten and discover some of the Brewery’s dark and mysterious storage spaces. The piece unravels a fun filled adventure, journeying through time and space, as diverse narratives are brought to life with dance. They reimagine, just as the Brewery Dance Platform performances have for 15 years, the world around us. They remind us of the joy to think ‘Outside the box’
