Hidden from light is a stunning promenade performance in collaboration between ‘Artist in Residence’ Rebecca Chesney and Lancashire’s About Time Dance Company. The performance explores some of the lesser known stories of Astley Hall, Chorley.
The Company’s work explores heritage and place through live dance performances and participatory projects. The work is often site-specific, delving into forgotten stories from our past and illuminating the spaces around us. Rebecca Chesney Rebecca was invited to explore Astley’s rich history to inspire the making of new artworks. Rebecca was drawn to uncovering more about the women of Astley Hall and together the artists have created a spectacular visual experience.
