Gone Fishin’ entails fishing stories from Morecambe Bay
Gone Fishin’ is a commission by Morecambe Bay Partnership to explore the unique fishing heritage from across the Bay.
About Time Dance Company illuminate MBP’s oral history fishing archive with a cast of 150 children from across north and south of the Bay including pupils from Bolton-le-Sands, Flookborough, Overton and Torrisholme. The children have discovered different fishing techniques used by fisherfolk of the bay, explored the weather conditions and listened to some of the memories.
